BUSINESS MANAGER -HEATHER EVANS
As business manager, Heather Evans brings with her a wealth of
professional experience in publishing, business leadership, activism, event
coordination, and organization building.
Heather's extensive resumé crosses a broad spectrum of experience: she
has travelled and worked around the world for all of her adult life, including
stints in the UK, Greece, Korea, around Europe and across Asia, and holds a
degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
With over 8 years experience as the Publishing House Coordinator of
Hackers Language Research Institute, Heather has been instrumental in
that company becoming one of the most successful ESL publishers in
Korea. Under her leadership and co-ordination, Hackers has gone from a s
single best-selling book, to an entire series of them; they've consistently
dominated nearly all best-seller slots on the top-20 language books in Korea.
Since 2006, Heather has also volunteered extensively as the Lead English
Speaking Coordinator and at the House of Sharing--home and museum to
survivors of former Japanese military sexual slavery during WWII. Her work in
this field has opened the doors for broader humanitarian work; recently, she
was accepted into Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C., Canada, for a
specialization in Human Security and Peacebuilding.
As business manager of Jeremiah Hill Photography, Heather handles a lot
of the behind the scenes work, including marketing and accounting, and also
works tirelessly toward the vision of expanding the business to its fullest
potential. It is an incredible blessing to have her on board. Of her
involvement in Jeremiah Hill Photography, she says, "I am involved in this
because I am inspired by the work, and I want to give others the opportunity
to be inspired by it as well."
